Rapid control prototyping power stage for controlling piezo injectors

Developed by VEMAC in cooperation with dSPACE, PZAmp is a universal power stage for controlling piezo injectors. It can be combined with dSPACE prototyping systems MicroAutoBox II and RapidPro to control up to six piezo injectors from different manufacturers (Bosch, Continental, Delphi and Denso).
PZAmp is configured directly from the Simulink^® model by using the dSPACE RTI Blockset, and comes with ready-made cable sets for quick connection to the dSPACE hardware.

Measuring and Controlling Piezo Injectors in Real Time
Working together, MicroAutoBox II and PZAmp enable the high-resolution capture of the currents and voltages of piezo injectors, allowing the opening behavior of injection valves to be measured and controlled in real time. This gives development engineers new degrees of freedom when designing control systems for piezo injectors.
